Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Engineer with around 3 years of experience to join our team and help ensure the quality, functionality, security, and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, a structured approach to testing, and the ability to work closely with Product and Engineering teams to identify issues early and ensure delivery of reliable and seamless experiences to our users.
Job Details
- Analyze product requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, UAT, smoke, and exploratory testing across web and mobile applications.
- Perform API testing using Postman and validate system integrations.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using JIRA, working closely with developers through to resolution.
- Conduct database testing and data validation using SQL.
- Perform performance and load testing using JMeter.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Appium.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand requirements, investigate issues, and improve product quality.
- Participate in the product development lifecycle and provide QA input from requirements through release.
- Prepare clear test reports and communicate testing outcomes, risks, and quality concerns to relevant stakeholders.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related role.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Proficiency in Postman, JIRA, SQL, and JMeter.
- Hands-on experience with at least one automation framework such as Playwright, Selenium, or Appium.
- Good understanding of API testing, system integrations, database testing, and performance testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases and potential product issues.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, and other teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple testing priorities.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum product development environment is an added advantage.
